Amahelia is a luxury boutique resort located on the island of Gili Asahan, off
the coast of Lombok. Gili Asahan is one of the 12 islands belonging to the “Secret Gilis”. The resort offers a perfect retreat space as the island is quiet and immersed in nature.
The exclusive villas are built with natural local materials and fully furnished. All include en-suite bathrooms. The beach in front of the resort is yours to enjoy a perfectly blissful awareness.

The retreat in Amahelia is a 12 day silent retreat retreat. The practice is suitable for beginners and those with experience. Accommodation in private bungalows with ensuite at a beach front resort in Gili Asaha.

The practice is undertaken on an individual basis.
However there will be a few group practices at the beginning of the course. And there will be Dharma talks further down the Vipassana retreat.

The daily program consists of walking and sitting mindfulness meditation all day with short breaks. Everyday between breakfast and lunch there is time for personal report meetings where the teacher is guiding the participants and adjusting the intensity of the practice individually. See schedule

They offer a healthy vegetarian/vegan breakfast and lunch a la Carte. During the evening break we serve yoghurt and tea. Coffee and tea is available anytime.

How to get there:

BY SEA
There are two ways to arrive by sea:
A fast boat from Bali’s harbour, Serangan, will take you to Gili Gede, a neighboring island 15 minutes away from Gili Asahan. From there, we will pick you up with an outrigger boat. The trip takes around 2 hours. We will
assist with the travel arrangements should you choose this option.
For the more adventurous travellers, you can come by car or motorbike using the public ferry which leaves Padang Bai in Bali every 3 hours. It is a 4-5
hour journey and an original way to explore Indonesia. From Lembar, the disembarking harbour, it will be one-hour ride to reach Pantai Kores, which is
just across from Gili Asahan.

There are 5-8 flights a day departing from Denpasar and Jakarta to Lombok. Also, Air Asia flies from Kuala Lumpur to Mataram a few times a week
Once you arrive in Lombok, we will help you with private car arrangements. A scenic, 1.5h drive will take you to a small beach called Pantai Kores, and after a 5-minute outrigger ride, you will disembark in the paradise island of Gili Asahan.
