Greece – Vipassana Retreat

Introduction

Retreat Venue NEAR ANO SKOTINA

This venue is a spacious rural sanctuary in the quiet mountain village of Ano Skotina, at the foot of Mount Olympus. With 10 large bedrooms and 3 shared bathrooms, it offers a simple and comfortable setting ideal for inner work and Vipassana-style silence.

A shaded outdoor patio, accessible by stairs, provides a peaceful space for meditation overlooking the natural landscape. The retreat house is designed for group immersion, with vegetarian meals prepared onsite and plenty of room to settle in. It offers a pure rural atmosphere with mountain views, fresh air, and direct access to hiking paths. A setting that naturally supports stillness, mindfulness, and retreat life.
